Bromobenzal thiosemicarbazones of ruthenium(II) complexes: Synthesis and bio applications

ABSTRACT Ru(II)BT have been synthesized by the reaction between substituted bromobenzal thiosemicarbazones and precursors of ruthenium metal complexes, [RuHCl(CO)(EPh3)3] (where E = P/As). The Ru(II)BT was characterized analytical spectroscopic techniques. It confirms coordination thiosemicarbazone ligands suggest octahedral geometry complexes. is comprised a centre with bidentate ligands. stabilization free radicals studied. ligand significant anticancer activity on MCF-7 cancer cells.
